Georgie was born and raised in the Waikato. After highschool, she moved to Palmerston North to chase her long held dream of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating with a BVSc from Massey University class of 2015, she moved to Wellington and worked as a small animal vet for 3 years. Georgie then moved to the UK to work and travel before returning home to New Zealand. Her special interests in brachycephalic airway disease, soft tissue surgery, complex medical cases and ultrasound led her to complete her Master of Veterinary Medicine, passing with Distinction in 2025.

Now settled in Auckland, in her spare time Georgie enjoys spending time with friends, family and her pets, camping, running, indoor climbing and social netball.
