Tahlia has always been passionate about animals since a young age, so it was no surprise she chose a career within the veterinary industry.

She graduated with a level 5 certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 2015 and has worked in small animal clinics ever since. After 8 years of full-time nursing, Tahlia stepped into a dual role as both vet nurse and practice manager for 1.5 years, before joining the team at Ellerslie in 2024. Tahlia works solely as the practice manager, but still enjoys jumping in to support the team on the floor when needed- it keeps me connected to the hands-on side of the job and helps me stay sharp with my nursing skills.

I’m passionate about creating a supportive, efficient clinical environment where both pets and people feel cared for.

Outside of work, Tahlia can often be seen on adventures with her son and family, whether it’s kicking a ball around at the park, going on café brunch dates or simply discovering something new together.
